A random stranger made me happy today.

Today was my NIFT round 1 exam.

The exam timings were 10am–1pm and 2pm-4pm (two papers were there CAT and GAT).

My alarm woke me up at 5:30 am. I was feeling too cozy and lazy to come out. And thought my dad (who was out of town with my whole family, i was alone in house) would surely wake me (by continous calling) up at correct time even if i slept once again!

So i turned off alarm and slept… guess what, dad was also sleeping till i woke up suddenly due to a dream. I checked the time and it was 8:40 am… OMFG!… i have to be at exam center before 9:45am so i just did my daily activies very fast, and heated up milk, ate some bread slices with milk and rushed to get an autorickshaw. Somehow i managed to reach the center at 9:40 am but suddenly i realised that, i forgot everything. I didnt have my pencil, my colours, pad, nothing… i was tensed and i was alone.

There came a lady with shiny golden hairs and wide smile. She asked me to fill up some information about myself in a form she gave (some NIFT coaching may be). I thought that i am gone now… i cant do anything about my colors and pencil and there was neither any shops nearby… so i decided to give her my time and provide some of details (like name, email, ph. No. Etc.)

As soon as i finished and gave the form back to her, there She gave me a set of complementary oil pastels and a pencil! I was like damn… that’s what i wanted thank you soo sooooo much… she was beautiful and i was feeling like hugging her out of happiness… i was so happy, i told her all the story and she was happy to help me!

We also met in the break between 1st and 2nd paper…(i was surprised that she was still there) and talked about my exam. We had a great conversation!

This made me smile today!

Truly a memorable day… exam was awesome by the way!
