Various electronic circuits used in the applications of these branches are amplifiers, waveform generators, timers, various arithmetic circuits, such as adder, subtractor, multipliers, log antilog amplifiers etc. One electronic device which can be used to construct all the circuits mentioned above is called as operational amplifier
