Selection of supplier should be depending upon a number of factors such that reliability, product quality which is related to quality principles, value for money, Capacity of supplier and quantity of product that can be supplied by the supplier per order, production facility, Control of process, price or cost, service, delivery time etc. There are various factors related with quality principles like product tolerance specifications, control chart, design aspects, defective product, technology used, material quality, etc.  Organisations are generally spent a huge amount of capital money for buying raw materials, components etc. So supplier selection becomes very important phenomena for the organisations now a day. Supplier may or may not be able to fulfil all requirements of an organisation. Therefore, capability of satisfaction should be there in suppliers.
