Importance of education -funny

Importance of Education in Society Education, if looked at beyond its conventional boundaries, forms the very essence of all our actions. What we do is what we know and have learned, either through instructions or through observation and assimilation. When we are not making an effort to learn, our mind is always processing new information or trying to analyze the similarities as well as the tiny nuances within the context which makes the topic stand out or seem different. If that is the case then the mind definitely holds the potential to learn more, however, it is us who stop ourselves from expanding the horizons of our knowledge with self-doubt or other social, emotional, or economic constraints. While most feel that education is a necessity, they tend to use it as a tool for reaching a specific target or personal mark, after which there is no further need to seek greater education. Nonetheless, the importance of education in society is indispensable and cohering, which is why society and knowledge cannot be ever separated into two distinct entities. Let us find out more about the role of education in society and how it affects our lives. Purpose of Education in Society Education is Self Empowerment Receiving a good education helps empower you, thus making you strong enough to look after yourself in any given situation. It keeps you aware of your given surrounding as well as the rules and regulations of the society you're living in. It's only through knowledge that you can be able to question authority for its negligence or discrepancies. It is only then that you can avail your rights as a citizen and seek improvement in the structural functioning of governance and economy. It's only when a citizen is aware about the policies of its government can he be able to support or protest the change. As a whole, people can bring about development only when they know where improvement is necessary for the greater good of mankind. Education helps you understand yourself better, it helps you realize your potential and qualities as a human being. It helps you to tap into latent talent, so that you may be able to sharpen your skills. Financial Stability and Dignity of Life Another importance of education is that it helps you gain sufficient academic qualification so that you are able to get suitable employment at a later stage. A decent employment would be combined with hard-earned remuneration or salary through which you can look after your personal expenses. While you earn for yourself, you gradually begin to realize the true worth of money and how hard it is to earn it. You realize the significance of saving for a rainy day and for unforeseeable contingencies. You feel empowered because there is a new sense of worth that develops within you, and you feel the need to be independent and free from any further financial support. You take pride in the fact that you are earning for yourself, and are not obligated to anyone. Growth in Personal Aspiration There also comes a phase when the amount you are earning presently will seem inadequate because your aspirations and expectations from yourself would have grown considerably. After this, you will want to change jobs so as to have a higher profile. However, here is when you need to be prepared. A promotion of this figure can occur in two given situations, which are, that either you have the necessary higher academic qualification or a college degree which allows you a safe passage, or that you have amassed enough practical experience which allows you to be a suitable candidate for the employment you seek. On the Job Efficiency This is why college education is very important after high school and must not be taken for granted. When faced with the option of choosing between a highly qualified candidate and a not so educated candidate, the employers will most probably go in for the qualified person. The reason being that, a qualified candidate will not require much investment of the employer's time and money. The organization need not teach him or her the tricks of the trade, or the various ways of functioning and performing the tasks of the workplace. On the contrary, a novice / amateur applicant would need to be taught everything from scratch, which many employer's are usually not willing to do. The same applies for people who seek higher education and get advanced diplomas while working. These people are continuously improving their profile and their knowledge base so as to go higher up on the competitive ladder. Helps Plan Ahead Those who have amassed enough education, steer the path of development and progress for their country. It is these individuals who go ahead and become teachers, scientists, inventors, welfare activists, soldiers, and politicians who work together to form the very backbone of the society. Without this pool of intellect, the economic and social framework would crumple and fall, paving its way for anarchy, degradation, and violence. While this intricate balance of growth is maintained, there will be a continuous rise in progress in all quarters of life, whether that be personal growth, or development of the nation as an entity. This progress has a very important role to play for the coming generations, which will reap the benefits of our hard work, as they develop it further. At the same time, the negative impact of our actions shall have its collateral damage on the coming generation as well. Which is why we must be exceptionally prudent about the decisions we make and the actions we take in the present. Job Seeker vs. Job Provider There will come a time, when you will no longer feel the need to be working as someone's mere employee. You would want to take charge and control over your own life and income. This is when you will decide to become a self-employed individual, who would like to watch his / her own ideas take realistic form. You would prefer being the one offering job opportunities to others and aid in providing income to them. At this stage of entrepreneurship, you may use your own expertise as well as that of other trained and skilled associates. As a team, you will find your business or venture expanding and yielding good results. You may even gain the confidence and insight, which will help you diversify and spread your expertise into other business arenas, which were previously unknown to you, or you were unsure about. This ability, comes with experience and knowledge amassed over the years. An Idle Mind is The Devil's Workshop Education and studying regularly, gives people of all age groups something substantial and challenging to do. It helps them think and use their idle hours, doing something productive and worthwhile. Education need not be purely academic and may include reading for leisure or as a passion for literature, philosophy, art, politics, economics, or even scientific research. There is no limit, to all that you can teach yourself, only if you take the interest to learn and grow as an individual. However, those who treat knowledge as trash, eventually find themselves getting absorbed with thoughts of violence, and jealously against those who are better off than themselves. It is people such as these who turn towards drug addiction, unnecessary rebellion, crime, and plain inactivity. Such people lack the self-esteem, that a good education often provides to its followers. Education plays its continuous role in all spheres of life. The reason being, that if we are aware of the drawbacks of a decision and we know about the possible contingencies and the collateral damage, our consequent actions would be wiser, which would help us to keep danger at bay at all times. Hate your job,see what you can do.

Hate Your Job But Don't Know What to Do? Check This to Make up Your Mind Do mornings bring with them a sense of impending doom? Do you often lie in bed sleepless, hating your life and yourself? And would your rather have your teeth pulled out, one by one, sans any anesthesia rather than going to work? If a really stressed yes is your answer, then it’s pretty clear that you hate your job and would go through anything to be able to send in a scathing resignation letter. The thing is, practically speaking, most of us don’t have the wherewithal to be able to simply quit a job we hate, for there are bills to be paid. So what to do when you hate your job? Why is it so hard to quit, and even harder to stay? Moaning and groaning about your job on an everyday basis is not only making you miserable but also irritating everyone around you. And telling yourself that sticking to a known devil rather than trying out an unknown one is better is bad philosophy. If you hate your job, you are probably not going to be very good at it in any case, and are setting yourself up for a big fall later; and frankly if it is getting unbearable – you need to find a way out, pronto!1. That said, the five most common reasons people keep doing the jobs they hate are listed below, and they are pretty understandable too. Fear of testing new waters One of the main reasons people keep sticking to the jobs they hate, and probably end up hating themselves while they are hard at work is the fear of unknown waters. This is particularly true for people nearing retirement or women getting back to work after a maternity leave, or even employees who have stagnated in the company or at the same position for too long. Monetary concerns Yep, the cost of living, unpaid bills and rising debts can put the fear of God into anyone! Your rather rickety financial situation will be worsened with unemployment and so this is one reason people stay put in the jobs they hate, unable to see a way out, at least immediately. A lull in the job market Sometimes you stay in the job you hate simply because there seems to be a dearth of good jobs in any case. Your regular scouring of classifieds and job sites simply tells you that leaving now means you might end up unemployed for a bit Being miserable is okay So you hate your job. So what. There are so many people in the world who would shrug and say “what to do when you hate your job”? Its part and parcel of life, you don’t have to like what you do – and somewhere this homily has taken root in you. And if this job is giving your family a good life, then it is well worth the sacrifice, no? Is it, truly? All jobs are the same And the final excuse, somehow you think that all the jobs in the world are bad and would probably end up making you miserable one way or another. Bad bosses, jealous colleagues and a workload that feels like the entire world’s weight – all jobs are like that, only … well, they aren’t.

The most underrated genius that ever lived?

Well yes you read the heading, so who was it according to you? For me it was Nikola Tesla. The most neglected genius, who never truly revieved the honor and respect that were his. I am saying this because his contribution to humanity was greater than that of any other scientist or inventor of his time. While others were solvinga and presenting solutions to the problems the world was facing that time, he pesented the world with the future itself. He was the world's first true futurist. Being born under thunder and lightening, it will not be wrong to call him son of Zeus( greek god of thunder and lightening). He never let his humble background come in the way of his learning. So prodigious was he that he was capable of soving complex mathematical problems without even lifting the pen but his professors never credited him for it instead they considered him a cheater. From a young age Tesla was facinated by lightening and electricity. So after completing his engineering he started working on projects that would result in betterment of human society. Blessed with the eidetc memory he could recite the entire book after reading it once. Once a fire broke out in his lab due to which all his resarch work got burnt but it was not a problem for him as he had alreday memorised all his work. He used to conduct thought experiment where he would assemble his machines and run them over and over again in his imagination till he receive the expected result. It was the thought experiment that he would realise his inventions in real world. Keeping his genius apart he was a humanitarian. He worked day and night on his projects. He never patented any of his invention because his machines were for the people. But not everybody shared this idea, his fellow inventors started using his inventions for personal gains claiming that were theirs. Amongst them the biggest was Thomas Elva Edison. He recognized Tesla's genius and got so afraid of his potential that he would do anything to tarnish his image. Also he was very succesful with it because he was the most renowned inventor of that time and had a great society image whereas on the other hand Tesla was not that popular among the people. Tesla was the supporter of ac current and believed that it is the future of electricity on the contrary Edison supported dc current. It is said that once in order to prove Tesla wrong, Edison kidnapped pets from the neighbourhood of the place where Tesla's ac current was being tested by the government and electrocuted them, just to prove how dangerous it was. Despite of all these events, Tesla never quit and he kept on with his work. Tesla was so ahead of his time that he had an working idea of a machine that could transmit energy wirelessly across the globe. Not only this, he is the only person in history to replicate and study the phenomenon of "fireball" or "lightening ball". To get a idea of it imagine a spherical ball of lighthening levitating above the ground moving really slowly. To this date no scientist is ever able to replicate it. Radio, light bulb, telegraph, x-ray etc name any invention of that era and I garuntee you that Tesla had it first then their patent owners. Tesla never cared for fame but a little acceptance from his fellow inventors may have eased hi final years. He died poor and defeated as he himself quoted. The future in which we live today is his gift and is only a part of what he planned for us. He gave us our future and we weren't able to give him his present.                                                                                                                  by SHIVAM RAWAT

Complicated Youth

Being young, we are full of doubts. We often have a dense thought over judgment of right and wrong. We deny the standards already set by the society. We try to make our own standards and even doubt them too. So overall, youth is really a complicated one to decode.  I have decided to provide you some basic rules of life that are proven by spiritual legends. These can be followed blindly without a doubt.  First is that meaning of life is comparative on the basis of how much you understood it. Life is like water storage. Some understand it equals to a coffee mug, some compared to a bucket and some up to a dam. And all the chores in life are the water filled in it. So my motive of making this assumption is that everything you go through in your life, every person you met, your family, your friends, your job, every other thing is water in it. Everything is the part of life not life. If one thing is gone, life doesn’t ends, just some water is minimized which can be refilled. I have heard some people saying to their lover that they are his/her life and they will die without him/her. Later if they lose, they fall into depression and some of them commit suicide. Same case is applied to every aspect of life.  Second thought is that each part much get as much importance as it deserve. Your studies, your love life, everything must have an importance level in Percentage. % of the life you discovered. Some give their whole importance to their better half and ditches their education. Some thinks that study and money is life and ignores even their family. Third one is simplest and most effective. Before teaching yourself refrains from bad deeds, learn not to commit one. The world is turned to place where most heard thought is ‘Prevention is better than cure’. We do not teach our children to not to steal, we teach them keep your money safe. We do not teach our boys to respect girls, we teach our girls not to wear small attire and to come home before 9. That’s all for now. I hope these few things will work for you. Help making you’re a better one.

Making First Grade Math Fun With Online Games

Making First Grade Math Fun With Online Games Kids who have completed kindergarten should enter first grade with a solid grasp of basic numerical concepts including counting, number recognition and identifying the difference between number values. First grade math builds on these concepts with the introduction of addition and subtraction as well as more advanced number relationships within base 10. Through integration of technology such as online math games, teachers can present these new ideas in a way that makes math fun and engaging for children of all skill levels. Technology and Education Incorporating technology into education isn't a new idea. Computers have been fixtures of schools and individual classrooms for many years, with students using them for everything from learning to type to doing research for reports. Young children are at a prime age for picking up on the skills necessary to properly utilize technology as part of their daily lives and can often adapt quickly to a virtual environment. This makes it both easy and practical for teachers to use first grade math games in the classroom. When kids engage in an online learning environment, they build skills in computer use as well as in the subject being presented, thereby gaining knowledge that they can use in both the classroom and out in the real world. Individualized Learning Environments One concept that keeps popping up in modern educational models is the idea of individualized instruction for students who are struggling. Advanced students also benefit from a learning environment where material is presented on their level rather than at a set pace. With a classroom full of students all approaching first grade math with slightly different skill levels and learning styles, it can be difficult for teachers to get all of the essential information across in a way that makes sense to every child. The adaptive nature of online programs and games makes them very useful when it comes to giving students an individual learning experience. Kids can play through games on their own time, progressing to the next level only when they've mastered the current one, ensuring a better understanding of each new concept. Building Skills Through Interactive Play It's said that kids don't get enough time to be kids any more, and with the growing demands on students of all ages, this is often the case. More and more frequently, playtime is edged out by homework and other school-related obligations. But kids need time to play and interact in settings outside of the classroom. First grade math games take this need for play into account while still providing the solid foundation necessary for kids to understand basic math concepts and build proficiency in core skills. The concepts learned in first grade math are essential to developing a full understanding of mathematics as a whole. Combining online math games and other tools within a virtual learning environment helps kids to visualize new ideas as they engage with entertaining characters and settings. With these tools at their disposal, it's possible for teachers to keep math material fresh and interactive throughout the year, making it easier to present potentially difficult concepts to all students within a traditional classroom setting.

Choosing a Human Resources Masters Degree

Choosing a Human Resources Masters Degree Of all the academic disciplines, human resources is one of the newest. Yet for all its relative youth, it has already become established as a popular degree course that has real world value for thousands of students. It should therefore come as little surprise that the demand for an advanced level of study has been so strong. To this end, the human resources masters degree has become a much sought after qualification. Seen by many as the best possible starting point for a career in the industry, the masters degree can offer its students cutting edge study, along with the level of advanced study that will give them the edge in their field of business. Of course, as with all such courses, there can be a problem that affects a large proportion of prospective students. Many people are working or have childcare arrangements (or indeed both) and simply do not have the time to study full or even part time. Whereas once this would have been the end of any dream to study and enhance one's career prospects, there is now a solution that opens up the world of study to thousands of people. Taking a human resources masters degree online allows prospective students to study in a course that they can fit in with their own personal circumstances and fit around their daily lives. To this end, it therefore makes sense that any such student should invest some time in making sure they choose the best establishment at which to study. Just as not all full time courses in the same subject are of the same quality, so too is the situation with online courses. For this reason, the potential student of such a course should look for a university that can provide a number of key things that will make it stand out as one of the better establishments. Perhaps the most important of these is that the university is highly ranked in independent assessments of the quality of its teaching and courses. This is easy to discover as any university that has been highly ranked will publicize the fact on their website, so it may well pay to avoid any where no mention of their standing can be seen. The next thing to look for is the details of the course itself. Look for a commitment to equal the level of study offered by a conventional campus. The best universities will know that an online degree is the equal of a campus based one, so look for information that stresses this fact. One of the best ways to ensure this is the case is to take a look at the members of faculty. Expect to see experts in their fields; however, on its own this is not enough. There is little point in having first class staff if the students cannot gain access to their knowledge. To this end, look for a pledge that these members of staff will be available for mentoring and coaching. After all, this can make all the difference in any program of study. Once the quality of the staff has been ascertained, it will pay to have a close look at what can be expected from the course. Students should expect one of the better universities to offer a course that covers everything from managing collective bargaining negotiations to devising and implementing strategic game plans. Following these points will mean that the choice for an online human resources masters degree is made easier as the best universities will be selected. From this point on the student will stand the best possible chance of choosing the course that will help set them on the road to a successful career. Article Source:Mohit Gedar

Should you Sit or Stand at Work?

Should you Sit or Stand at Work? Sitting for too long is not good for you – so should you stand at work? Sitting for long periods of time leads to joint stiffness, neck pain, back pain and postural problems – so should we all be standing at our lap tops instead of hunching over them at a desk? Like every other question it depends – how long we do it for and the type of chair and it depends on who we are. In truth doing any one thing for too long is not good for our bodies  The truth is that we need to keep moving – sit for a while and stand for a while is the best way to spend our day so that we don’t overload our joints and muscles. One study found that in the workplace, productivity increased when people have the ability to sit and stand throughout the work day. The study, conducted by researchers, examined the productivity of two groups of call-center employees, about 170 employees total, over the course of six months. One group was seated throughout the day, the other group stood up if they wanted to. By the end of the study, the employees using stand-capable workstations were about 46% more productive than the sit-only group (productivity was defined as the number of successful calls each employee completed per hour of work). The difference in productivity between the groups was significant, but the amount of time spent sitting versus standing was less than first thought. On average, the group who could stand or sit to work actually sat for just 1.6 hours less per day than the sit-only group. Second, the differences in productivity only started emerging after a full month of the study. It took that long for the participants to adapt to standing part of the day and figuring out what worked best. No one made overnight changes. The researchers say they also gathered data on employee discomfort and found that “nearly 75% of those working in standing mode experienced decreased body discomfort after using these desks for the six-month duration of the study.” Which also goes to the point that it takes some time to adapt to a combination of sitting and standing, and no one should go into this thinking they’ll magically adapt immediately. Each position has its advantages and disadvantages. Research indicates that long term sitting or standing are risk factors and that alternating work postures may be preferable. Alternation between two postures allows for increased rest intervals of specific body parts, and reduced potential for risk factors commonly associated with MSD development. Ideally, provide workers with a workstation and job tasks that allow frequent changes of working posture, including sitting, standing, and walking. If either sitting or standing is feasible but only one possible, sitting in a properly designed chair is preferable.

E-learning solutions

E-Learning Solutions for Organizational Training In today's highly-competitive business environment, no company wants to be left behind in the race to reach the top. Starting from a well-planned business model to a strong work flow process, an organization has to continuously maintain a high-level of commitment towards its business goals. One would agree that an organization's success largely depends on its workforce and a well-informed and technically sound workforce can be an asset to any organization. Therefore, one witnesses organizations willing to nurture its workforce through regular and advanced trainings, to enhance skills and expertise. Organizations schedule regular employee trainings, on a weekly or on a monthly basis, depending on the requirement. Earlier, organizational trainings followed the classroom-based teaching method. Though successful, such trainings meant consumption of a large amount of printed material, thus increasing training costs. Another drawback of the classroom-based teaching was that the trainers had to evaluate trainees' assignments manually, which consumed a lot of time of the trainers. With the advent of e learning, the scenario is changing dramatically. E-learning has several benefits, such as it being less expensive, flexible, self-paced, easily manageable, and consistent. There many companies in the market that provide e learning solutions to corporates. These companies also extend their support for implementing the learning management system (LMS) in the organization. Besides that they help organizations in, assessing the skill-gap analysis of their employees and selecting the apt training modules for their employees. With the help of these e-learning companies, organizations are able to manage all the training needs of their employees without having to increase their budget, meant for trainings. By implementing the learning management system, organizations are able to groom their employees in a better way. Since every industry functions differently and their training needs vary, the LMS content can be customized, as per the needs of an industry. All that an organization needs to do, is to communicate the e-learning solution provider, with the requirements of the required training modules. These e learning solution providers, with help of their expert content developers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers, develop high-quality content. Organizations that do not wish to take the burden of maintaining the LMS, have the option of outsourcing to an off-shoring company. By outsourcing, the organizations can reduce their associated training costs by 20-40 percent. However, it is recommended that organizations do a background check on the off-shoring company, prior to outsourcing any work to them. The past clientele, quality of the content, and turn-around-time could be a good indicator for considering any off-shoring company.

Always hungry,Why?

Always Feeling Hungry? You Might Be Simply Thirsty You’ve eaten lunch. You felt really full. But two hours later, you feel hungry again. Then you go to get a pack of snacks. Gradually you’re gaining weight. And you ask…what’s happening? Why my appetite is growing so fast? You start to suspect if you have parasite in your body, or if you have diabetes. All these are possible. But most of the time, you’re just thirsty. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated and don’t even know it. And the problem is, most people can’t tell the difference between hunger and thirst. What? Even a kid would be able to tell the differences? Look at the signs of hunger and signs of thirst below first. signs of hunger and thrist 1.feeling weak                                                                  1.feeling weak   2.being irretable                                                                2..being irretable 3.headache                                                                      3.headache                       4.rumbling stomatch                                                          4.dry mouth As you can see, 3 out of 4 common signs of hunger and thirst are the same. What’s more, the part of the brain that deals with hunger and thirst feelings is the same. With the same part interpreting both signals, it becomes confusing to offer the perfect solution. So, how not to be tricked? One tip is that feelings of true hunger come gradually, but not suddenly. When in doubt, always guess in favor of hydration. It’s unlikely that you’ll ever over hydrate but it’s always so easy to overeat. Make it a habit. Drink a glass of water or herbal tea at least 30 minutes before a meal or snack. This way, you’ll be more aware of the true extent of your appetite, you’ll absorb the water more effectively, and you won’t dilute your stomach acid while it’s trying to digest. Dehydration may play a bigger role in your life than you realize. Luckily, it’s an easy fix. Learn to drink more water and not only will you find that your hunger cravings are reduced, but you’ll also feel better in general!
