What do you think? Are you destined to be where you are and where you will be or you have all it under your control, you can be anything and everything you want to be. Do you believe in destiny or freewill? This question has troubled great minds since the advent of mankind and till now remains answered. We humans are limited at every front. The nature has bounded us at the largest(cosmic levels) and the smallest(quantum levels). Like the flowing water, if it is bounded or restricted we can control its flow and direct it or in other words control its purpose but if the same water is uncontrolled it can have positive or negative effects but on its own accord. Similarly sometimes it feels like these boundations are limiting us so that we human race as a whole do not sway from our predestined path. Due to advacement in technologies in recent times our scientific community is been able to explore deep into interstellar space. As a result we are discovering more and more mind boggling phenomena our universe has. Also we have found numerous habitable planets with perfect atmosphere for sustaining life, but non has it. In this vast universe I don't think it is very difficult to have a solar system like ours with a planet similar to our Earth, but they don't have life even though they all the elements to sustain life.Why? Why in this vast universe(13.2 billion light years) we are alone( assuming if aliens are there they are intelligent enough to contact us and no government is hiding the truth of their existence from us). One of the bold principle supporting this fact is the anthropic principle. It states that" The theories of the universe are constrained by the necessity to allow human existence". In other words it says that the universe is the way it is soo that we can exist. Kinda wierd right. But if you look at it differently you might find that not everything is destined there is the exttence of freewill too. In you look at the history of mankind carefully you will find we have acheived what we wanted to achieve. We wanted to travel quickly, we started flying. We wanted to connected to our relatives across the state, now we are connected globally. You might relate it to Darwin's theory of evolution that in order to survive we evolved by experimenting, observing and learning but I relate it to the law of attraction one of the most fundamental theories of metaphysics, that if you desire something than the universe start working on manifesting it for you in other words our thoughts materialise. Kinad wierd too right?. It does not mean that if you want a car, will pop in front of you. What it means that if you want a car desire it enough and universe will make it happen in the ways you can understand. But if such freewill exist then why are we bounded or those are just the pieces of the puzzles yet to be put in the right place. Are we destined to believe in freewill? Operational Research is one such subject you will find least material about. Rare courses have this subject in graduation but in post graduation one or two papers of this subject stands compulsory. Well yes you read the heading, so who was it according to you? For me it was Nikola Tesla. The most neglected genius, who never truly revieved the honor and respect that were his. I am saying this because his contribution to humanity was greater than that of any other scientist or inventor of his time. While others were solvinga and presenting solutions to the problems the world was facing that time, he pesented the world with the future itself. He was the world's first true futurist. Being born under thunder and lightening, it will not be wrong to call him son of Zeus( greek god of thunder and lightening). He never let his humble background come in the way of his learning. So prodigious was he that he was capable of soving complex mathematical problems without even lifting the pen but his professors never credited him for it instead they considered him a cheater. From a young age Tesla was facinated by lightening and electricity. So after completing his engineering he started working on projects that would result in betterment of human society. Blessed with the eidetc memory he could recite the entire book after reading it once. Once a fire broke out in his lab due to which all his resarch work got burnt but it was not a problem for him as he had alreday memorised all his work. He used to conduct thought experiment where he would assemble his machines and run them over and over again in his imagination till he receive the expected result. It was the thought experiment that he would realise his inventions in real world. Keeping his genius apart he was a humanitarian. He worked day and night on his projects. He never patented any of his invention because his machines were for the people. But not everybody shared this idea, his fellow inventors started using his inventions for personal gains claiming that were theirs. Amongst them the biggest was Thomas Elva Edison. He recognized Tesla's genius and got so afraid of his potential that he would do anything to tarnish his image. Also he was very succesful with it because he was the most renowned inventor of that time and had a great society image whereas on the other hand Tesla was not that popular among the people. Tesla was the supporter of ac current and believed that it is the future of electricity on the contrary Edison supported dc current.It is said that once in order to prove Tesla wrong, Edison kidnapped pets from the neighbourhood of the place where Tesla's ac current was being tested by the government and electrocuted them, just to prove how dangerous it was. Despite of all these events, Tesla never quit and he kept on with his work. Tesla was so ahead of his time that he had an working idea of a machine that could transmit energy wirelessly across the globe.Not only this, he is the only person in history to replicate and study the phenomenon of "fireball" or "lightening ball". To get a idea of it imagine a spherical ball of lighthening levitating above the ground moving really slowly. To this date no scientist is ever able to replicate it. Radio, light bulb, telegraph, x-ray etc name any invention of that era and I garuntee you that Tesla had it first then their patent owners. Tesla never cared for fame but a little acceptance from his fellow inventors may have eased hi final years. He died poor and defeated as he himself quoted. Gradually you’re gaining weight. And you ask…what’s happening? Why my appetite is growing so fast? You start to suspect if you have parasite in your body, or if you have diabetes. All these are possible. But most of the time, you’re just thirsty. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated and don’t even know it. And the problem is, most people can’t tell the difference between hunger and thirst. What? Even a kid would be able to tell the differences? Look at the signs of hunger and signs of thirst below first. signs of hunger and thrist 1.feeling weak 1.feeling weak 2.being irretable 2..being irretable 3.headache 3.headache 4.rumbling stomatch 4.dry mouth As you can see, 3 out of 4 common signs of hunger and thirst are the same. What’s more, the part of the brain that deals with hunger and thirst feelings is the same. With the same part interpreting both signals, it becomes confusing to offer the perfect solution. So, how not to be tricked? One tip is that feelings of true hunger come gradually, but not suddenly. When in doubt, always guess in favor of hydration. It’s unlikely that you’ll ever over hydrate but it’s always so easy to overeat. Make it a habit. Drink a glass of water or herbal tea at least 30 minutes before a meal or snack. This way, you’ll be more aware of the true extent of your appetite, you’ll absorb the water more effectively, and you won’t dilute your stomach acid while it’s trying to digest. Dehydration may play a bigger role in your life than you realize. Luckily, it’s an easy fix. Learn to drink more water and not only will you find that your hunger cravings are reduced, but you’ll also feel better in general!

Should you Sit or Stand at Work? Sitting for too long is not good for you – so should you stand at work? Sitting for long periods of time leads to joint stiffness, neck pain, back pain and postural problems – so should we all be standing at our lap tops instead of hunching over them at a desk? Like every other question it depends – how long we do it for and the type of chair and it depends on who we are. In truth doing any one thing for too long is not good for our bodies The truth is that we need to keep moving – sit for a while and stand for a while is the best way to spend our day so that we don’t overload our joints and muscles. One study found that in the workplace, productivity increased when people have the ability to sit and stand throughout the work day. The study, conducted by researchers, examined the productivity of two groups of call-center employees, about 170 employees total, over the course of six months. One group was seated throughout the day, the other group stood up if they wanted to. By the end of the study, the employees using stand-capable workstations were about 46% more productive than the sit-only group (productivity was defined as the number of successful calls each employee completed per hour of work). The difference in productivity between the groups was significant, but the amount of time spent sitting versus standing was less than first thought. On average, the group who could stand or sit to work actually sat for just 1.6 hours less per day than the sit-only group. Second, the differences in productivity only started emerging after a full month of the study. It took that long for the participants to adapt to standing part of the day and figuring out what worked best. No one made overnight changes. The researchers say they also gathered data on employee discomfort and found that “nearly 75% of those working in standing mode experienced decreased body discomfort after using these desks for the six-month duration of the study.” Which also goes to the point that it takes some time to adapt to a combination of sitting and standing, and no one should go into this thinking they’ll magically adapt immediately. Each position has its advantages and disadvantages. Research indicates that long term sitting or standing are risk factors and that alternating work postures may be preferable. Alternation between two postures allows for increased rest intervals of specific body parts, and reduced potential for risk factors commonly associated with MSD development. Ideally, provide workers with a workstation and job tasks that allow frequent changes of working posture, including sitting, standing, and walking. If either sitting or standing is feasible but only one possible, sitting in a properly designed chair is preferable.
