The Finance Club, IIM Kashipur

The Finance Club of IIM Kashipur is a student-driven initiative towards enhancing the knowledge in the field of finance through interesting and innovative activities, events, discussions and workshops.

The Finance Club's major activities include:

1. Conducting knowledge sharing sessions and workshops for the batch.

2. Conducting quizzes, virtual stock market games, case studies and other activities to enhance domain knowledge

3.Organizing interaction with finance experts from industry and academia through guest lectures and conclaves

4. Organizing roundtable discussions on latest financial developments across the world.

5. Publishing Bi-Weekly Newsletter on latest industry trends, Market Analysis and a Company Analysis with investment opinion.

The major focus is to provide a professional and social network for students who wish to pursue a career in finance. The members of the club are dedicated to helping the students or assisting and mentoring CFA and FRM aspirants, or organizing fun events to impart learning about basic and real-life finance concepts. The club gives opportunities to students by providing reach to industry experts. The Finance Club is currently working on the idea of starting an investment fund where students can invest in and learn the trading techniques along with an understanding of the risk associated and ways to mitigate it.
