Entrepreneurship oppurtunuities in Campus Assignment which explains about Photo copy centre: There is only one photo copy centre (C-Block, Academic building) in the campus where students can print and photo copy. Although there is one more photo copy shop in SR-10, only Xerox can be done there and it has no printing facility. Both of them are closed on Sunday and neither of them is open at night. The photo copy centre in Academic Block-C is usually heavily crowded. As most of the students don’t have access to infracom printers, I think opening a photo copy centre which has various facilities like printing photo copy, spiralling, lamination etc. near the hostels is a good business opportunity. Beauty parlour: There is no beauty parlour for girls and women in the campus. They have to travel to city to go the Beauty parlour. Opening a Beauty parlour in the campus has a great potential for success. South Indian Food Joint: When you are away from home, you will get bored of hostel food. That’s why most of the students opt out the mess in the second year. Limited number of food joints in the campus offer breakfast. Most of these food open in the late afternoon or evening. There are limited options for students to have a decent breakfast (Staff canteen has a limited menu; primarily Maggi). I think south Indian food joint which starts at early (around 8 AM) is a viable option for students have a decent breakfast. In the afternoon and the evening the food joint serves various south Indian dishes like biryanis and rice items. As significant numbers of students are from South, I think it’s a viable business plan etc
