Interview complete notes

An interview is a conversation where questions are asked and answers are given.[1] In common parlance, the word "interview" refers to a one-on-one conversation between an interviewer and an interviewee. The interviewer asks questions to which the interviewee responds, usually so information may be transferred from interviewee to interviewer (and any other audience of the interview). Sometimes, information can be transferred in both directions. It is a communication, unlike a speech, which produces a one-way flow of information.

Difference between a curriculum vitae (CV) and a résumé (commonly written as resume)

Common belief is that the difference between a curriculum vitae (CV) and a résumé (commonly written as resume) is that a CV is used in the UK while a resume is used in the US. While that is true, there is actually a small difference between the two documents. A resume is typically not more than a page long, and contains a summary of a person's relevant job experience and education. A curriculum vitae - which means "course of life" in Latin - is a longer document that includes details of important but relatively less relevant things, like a more detailed description of education, publications, awards, affiliations and other academic accomplishments. Both are typically used to screen applicants, often followed by an interview, when seeking employment. Key differences •  CVs are focused on academic work with an emphasis on research and teaching while résumés are focused on non- academic work with an emphasis on related competencies (skills, knowledge and attributes) •  CVs aim to provide comprehensive information while resumes aim to summarize key information •  CVs are often long – 5, 10, 20 or more pages - while resumes are generally 1 to 2 pages maximum . Cvs  Purpose In Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, employers expect a CV. In the U.S., a CV is used primarily when applying for academic, education, scientific or research positions. Think of instances when you have shown a lot of skill in that area. Examples of Weaknesses: 1.     I sometimes push my people too hard. I like to work with a sense of urgency and everyone is not on the same wavelength. 2.     For my weakness, I always say that some people say I'm over-friendly. You can't go wrong with that one. Usually, the person interviewing is like "Oh, that's not a bad thing at all." 3.     I'm a little egoistic when it comes to winning things and get a little ruthless too. 4.     I lose patience sometimes when I am not in a position to complete the assigned job in time. 5.     I have to work on having more patience and giving myself a break, because I always want everything done at once. 6.     Tend to go to any limits while helping my friends. 7.     I am too focused on my work and I need to find more time to relax. 8.     I'm too focused on work and need to develop some after-hours hobbies Tell me about Your Self About 90% of the interviews start with this question. Start with the present and tell why you are well qualified for the position. Remember that the key to all successful interviewing is to match your qualifications to what the interviewer is looking for. In other words you must sell what the buyer is buying.
