Yes, it can be frustrating to have your computer try to update or reboot in the middle of the workday, but that problem can be avoided by leaving the computers on to be updated overnight. And what is gained in reliability far outweighs the time lost on software updates.2 - Avoid unnecessary softwareIt’s not uncommon for free software available online to slow down the computer in a variety of ways. Often by running in the background 24/7, collecting data, and taking up memory. RAM memories and hard drives, on the other hand, are much more prone to slow downs and problems in a shorter time frame. If a computer in the office seems slow and the other steps didn’t fix the issue, try replacing one of those components before buying an entire new computer.
