Time varying fields

In other words, a time-varying electric field is produced by a time-varying magnetic field and a time-varying magnetic field is produced by a time-varying electric field. The first concept was experimentally introduced by Michael Faraday and the second was theoretically introduced by James Clerk Maxwell.

Ultra Capacitors

Super capacitors are new energy storage devices that exhibit such unique features as high capacitance, high power density, and a long cycle. Some required features such as higher stability, durability, and catalytic activity, and a lower cost are crucial for new types of materials used in super capacitors. Carbon derivatives, especially graphene-based systems, are very important materials for energy applications, owing to their physical, morphological, and structural properties. Besides, polymer-based materials have attracted much attention for super capacitor applications. Herein, different polymers and polymer-based carbon derivatives will be discussed as potential electrode materials for super capacitor applications. Finally, all graphene and polymer-based materials developed recently for flexible super capacitor applications are also discussed.

Electronic Ink

Electronic paper is a developing technology which is capable of bringing a revolution in the world. It is a display technology using organic electronics designed to mimic the appearance of regular ink on paper. It’s origin is from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),Cambridge. The technology has been commercialized by the E Ink Corporation, which was co-founded in 1997 by MIT undergraduates J.D. Albert & Barrett Comiskey, MIT Media Lab professor Joseph Jacobson, Jerome Rubin and Russ Wilcox.

AUTOMATIC VEHICLE LOCATION

A GPS receiver placed in a car can receive signals from these satellites and will calculate the exact location of the car in terms of latitude and longitude. This data can be sent to owner’s computer that can monitor the location. A GSM modem can be integrated into this project for providing security and remote control. The current location of the car can be found out by sending an SMS. The car can also be disabled by sending an SMS.
