What should be done a day before JEE Advanced 2018

A day before JEE ADVANCED exam, this is the day which can be the turning point of your journey towards IIT. This day is more important than the JEE ADVANCED exam day because if something went wrong in this day then there are huge chances of your exam being ruined. So, all you need to do is just relax i know it’s not that much easy to relax before such a crucial exam, it’s normal to feel a little bit nervous and anxious a day before exam, but remember to never let your nervousness and anxiety get a hold of you during the exam.I will personally suggest you to go for a movie like deadpool 2,raazi,etc chill out forget all the stress just remember the best moments of your journey(like remember about the review tests of your institute in which you scored well). If you want to revise just go through the formulas and the short notes (if you have made) , don’t practise anything especially something new because it is sure that if you will try something new then you will face difficulties and it will lead to lack of your confidence . Remember if you have worked hard throughout your journey(preparation) keep faith in it because this is payback time all the late nights and early mornings will surely pay you back . And on the exam day just think that THE UPCOMING 8 HOURS IS YOUR LAST FIGHT JUST BESTOW YOUR COMPETENCE INTO IT . GOOD LUCK

Shall I take a drop year for the JEE? I have alrea

This question is widely asked by a majority of students after appearing for the JEE once because many of them are not able to score good . But the thing is that your decision depends on the factors that lead to your failure I personally believe in the quote : Introspect but never repent for the past , which means you should do the diagnosis of your failure but never regret for it. So, all you need to do is to think what factors led to your failure . If you think you can handle pressure in the upcoming year because it needs huge level of courage to take a drop because you need to manage time since you have to finish the complete coarse in only one year and trust it runs very fast then you can go for a drop . But if you are backed with decent basics then you can develop great command on topics by practising because all you need is practise and time management. And if you think you are weak in 75% percent topics then trust me you should not go for a drop because you will not be able to manage it. At the end I want to say that 1 year doesn’t matter a lot and if you want it badly you will do it, just do it but remember do manage it properly, atleast you will not regret that you haven’t tried for it. Just put your blood and sweat into it .

Did anyone not join IIT even after qualifying in J

Yes, there are number of students who had not joined IIT even after qualifying JEE Advanced . There are numerous reasons behind this 1- Some students give priority to the branch rather than to the college, so if they didn’t manage to get their dream branch they join other institutes which offers them their dream branch, these may be namely BITS, DTU and some private colleges . 2 - Some students crack entrances for foreign universities like MIT that are way above IITs, so they go for foreign universities rather than IITs, this has already happened thrice IIT-JEE 2006 AIR 1 Raghu mahajan,JEE Advanced 2014 AIR 1 Chitrang murudia and JEE Advanced 2015 AIR 1 Satvat Jagwani left IIT before completing their Btech and joined MIT 3 - There are many students who are interested in research rather than in engineering so they go for the institutes like IISc to pursue their passion and serve the country in a better way .

How did Kalpit Veerwal get IITB CSE with a rank ou

Kalpit veerwal belongs to sc category and his sc rank was 1 that's why he got CSE in IITB . Despite of the fact that his AIR rank was 109 which was outside 60 he managed to get CSE in IITB this is the failure of our system that offers reservation on the caste basis due to which talented students have to compromise their dreams, I am not saying that Kalpit Veerwal is not a talented student, no doubt he is damn talented but suppose if he belonged to general category then he would not be eligible for CSE in IITB . Kalpit veerwal proved two major sayings wrong : 1 - Scoring full marks in JEE mains is nearly impossible . 2 - SC category students don't work hard as their cutoff for admission is very low . 1 - JEE mains is that kind of exam that demands a good blend of speed, concepts, knowledge, confidence, intelligence he proved that it is possible to get a score of 360 in JEE mains with his efforts and hardwork. 2 - There is misconception among people that reserved cast students don't work hard as they have to score very less in order to get through competitive exams but kalpit veerwal proved this saying wrong by achieving full marks in JEE mains and air - 109 in JEE advanced by an exceptional piece of effort . Reservation is obviously unhealthy for our education system . Government should provide reservation on the basis of financial status infact government should not provide reservation but they should facilitate the weak part of our society with finances, free teaching, etc that will improve the status of students in our country as they will learn to work hard.

For JEE Mains 2018 cutoff of different categories is as follows : GEN - 74 OBC-NCL - 45 SC - 29 ST - 24 PwD - -35 So, according to above criteria you can be qualified only if you are a PwD candidate since its cutoff is -35 which is lower than your score i.e. 12.

Can I be eligible for JEE advanced if I get 90%

It is not the individual percentage of subjects which matters but the overall percentage of 12th . According to CBSE in order to get admission in IITs and NITs a candidate must have atleast 75%marks in 12th standard or he/she should be in top 20 percentile, this condition is also the eligibility criteria for JEE advanced. So your overall percentage should be 75 to be eligible for JEE advanced. Good luck

Is NCERT enough for inorganic chemistry for BITSAT

Yes, obviously NCERT is enough for inorganic chemistry in BITSAT but you have cover each and every topic from both 11th and 12th syllabus . And a book is available in the market for BITSAT, you should also practice the concepts with it, but in order to excel in inorganic chemistry you should give approx 2 to 3 hours daily for inorganic because it is all about retaining the concepts in your mind . Remember it is very easy to learn inorganic chemistry but it is very though to retain it . I hope my opinion will help , best of luckl for your exam.
